Edu(cat)e

Usually when there’s an exam around the corner, I churn out another blog post as a form of procrastination. However, my lab practicum tomorrow is on the human AND cat muscles and I have yet to master the inner-workings of Garfield. So to keep it short – I recently had the pleasure of doing an interview with Accepted.com regarding my ongoing journey towards medical school. I’m not going to lie, it contains more personal information rather than wisdom from a medical school applicant. However, I think it gives you a pretty solid view on why I am doing what I am doing. Feel free to check it out here. Or not. Regardless, enjoy this lovely comic. [:

  1. Hello hello. I came to your blog from Accepted.com! Thats was such a nice interview and your blog is so encouraging. I am a 22 year old girl living in NZ contemplating a move to California to eventually study med. I would honestly love a pal to give me a tip here and there and answer a few questions that I have. The internet is such a vast place and all the data out here is confusing me! <3

    • Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to read my interview. Wow! Coming from NZ for medicine will be such an experience for you – I can’t wait to hear your stories! I would be more than happy to connect with you and help you out in any way I can [: It can definitely be difficult navigating through all the nonsense that is sometimes on the internet and we 22-year-old pre-meds need to stick together (;
